The Weigela Bush is in Bloom

Here are two pictures of our Weigela Bush. There may be some wild roses blooming a wee bit later if we're lucky. We cleared the black berries that seem to love sharing the same space as these roses and I hope we didn't disturb them too much last year when we removed the berry vines.

The Rhododendrons are in Bloom.

The Rhododendrons are in bloom in the front yard. The bush in the back yard comes in bloom about a week earlier due to sun conditions.

My birthday was a few days ago and a good friend sent this bouquet by delivery.

Here are the two colours of Columbine I have growing in this planter. The blue ones come up about a week later than the white ones.

Here's some more pictures of the Hawthorne trees in bloom. There are so many flowers that the branches become heavy laden with them.

Here is that mystery plant flowering. It appears so different throughout the stages of growth every year. These flower stems look like antennae and then, the start blooming. They have grown over night approximately three inches depending upon rain, etc.

This plant has been blooming in the solarium for about two weeks now, so, I thought I would take another picture of it.

I have this picture in the wrong order. I took it about four days or so ago and since then, more of the dark blue columbines have come up.

And here is a better picture of the flowers on this plant.

Hawthorn's Bloom, Bleeding Hearts Swoon, Leaving Room for the Columbines.

Columbines are starting to appear as the tulips say, "Goodbye."

The Hawthorne trees are just starting to bloom.

The Bleeding Hearts are also making their appearance.

One plant standing alone blooms as well.

Mint is up.

The Bird bath and Lilies that are not ready to bloom.

In the back by the large Fir tree is a Rhodie in bloom, the first in our yard.

Lilacs are blooming and the smell is wonderful!

The Lilacs are blooming and the smell is wonderful! I've noticed my neighbors who like to take a tramp through the winding streets linger as they walk by our home and they take in the Lilac flowers in bloom. Steve brought in two of the Lilac clusters and I put them in a wee cup on the kitchen table. Now that room is starting to hold the fragrance of the flowers.
