Hawthorn's Bloom, Bleeding Hearts Swoon, Leaving Room for the Columbines.

Columbines are starting to appear as the tulips say, "Goodbye."

The Hawthorne trees are just starting to bloom.

The Bleeding Hearts are also making their appearance.

One plant standing alone blooms as well.

Mint is up.

The Bird bath and Lilies that are not ready to bloom.

My mysterious Urn plant.

Little white flowers on long stems.

In the back by the large Fir tree is a Rhodie in bloom, the first in our yard.

Johnny368: Thanks, I do like the way when one plant is at the end of its blooming cycle another takes its place.

Hope your summer is great as well and keep those beautiful pictures coming.

Wonder Man: Thanks. That was taken out of our kitchen window over the sink.

I miss getting into your site, for some reason it continues to not allow me in. I get in for a few seconds before this white screen appears and I'm thrown into a loop. Hopefully, I can get this resolved. If you have any suggestions, send them my way.

Hey Butch!! The first seedling of your columbine has appeared in my bedroom window this week. I'll be seeding the rest out of doors, where they'll probably do better, once I get some new bed space prepared.

Isn't it fun, the annual succession of one bloom to the next? I'm never sure if the metaphor of a parade or a vaudeville show works better.

: )

Greg: Yea! As my tulips went the way of most flowers, the Columbines started shooting up. The white ones are now blooming and I looked a wee bit closer and noticed that the blue ones are coming up next. I just left the seeds in the flower box I keep out in the weather all year around. It seem to love that place and I'm looking forward to seeing them again both on the West coast and the East coast on your property.;)

Looking lovely Butch. I love the Urn plant. I have been enjoying Spring so much and now were coming into Summer here too. I just hope Summer here is a little bit drier than Spring as we have had a very wet few months. :-)

Mark: Thanks, Mark. One of these days we'll figure out exactly what type of plant(s) it is. We've come close but not the actual plant.

I think you got most of the rain we normally get during the spring. I think we will have to watch for the forest fires this summer a lot more than usual.

Mark: Thanks, Mark. I have somemore that need posting as well and have been too busy this past weekend performing at the annual Folk Life Festival in Seattle, Wa.
It's a four day festival with many stages operating simultaneously throughout the four days. My group, "Mooney, Woods and Nogle" played on Saturday. If you are interested in visiting our website, it's:
